Strategic Planning
In 2016, the Napa Valley COAD developed a three-year strategic plan for 2016-2019. A critical part of the process was including key community stakeholders from all sectors in laying out our road map. After the Napa Fire Complex in 2017, COAD revisited and modified the three-year plan based on lessons learned. The full plan can be found here: Napa COAD Strategic Plan Final Feb 2017
The COAD Executive Committee updated it strategic plan in January 2020 and identified strategic initiatives and priorities for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 in the midst of ongoing emergencies. In February 2023, COAD’s Board of Directors conducted a strategic planning refresh to identify strategic priorities related to becoming a 501(c)3, acknowledging the expanded role of COAD, and other newer initiatives for the period January 2023 to December 2024.
